With Rialto Connect, Karos Health makes it simple for you to publish, discover, and retrieve diagnostic imaging information and clinical documents across healthcare institutions and communities. Diagnostic images are an essential part of the patient medical record that now can be made available to collaborative exchange networks, allowing diagnostic imaging and clincal information providers to share information seamlessly with other healthcare professionals and securely access all information created along the patient’s care pathway.

  • Rialto Connect is a ready-made solution built on the Rialto platform, enabling Clinical Information Systems and PACS systems to participate in XDS-based exchange networks;
  • Rialto Connect supports a comprehensive set of Integrating the Healthcare (IHE®) integration profiles for information exchange between healthcare enterprises, in particular Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing (XDS.b) and Cross-Enterprise Document Sharing for Imaging (XDS-I.b);
  • Rialto Connect publishes diagnostic images and reports into XDS-based exchange networks and, where necessary, converts data formats;
  • Rialto Connect transforms data coming from repositories and XDS-based exchange networks into formats readable by your clinical applications or PACS. Supports mapping to local patient identifiers and terminologies;
  • Rialto Connect fully complies with stringent privacy legislations and security requirements.
